Chairperson Indonesian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (HOGI)
Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Peace and warm greetings to all distinguished colleagues,
It is with great pride and deep appreciation that I welcome you to INASMEET 2025, the 4th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (HOGI), taking place on December 12th–14th, 2025, at Mason Pine Hotel, Kota Baru Parahyangan, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.
This year’s theme, “State-of-the-Art Update in Gynecologic Tumor: Evidence, Innovation, and Implementation”, reflects our dedication to embracing continuous advancements in science and applying them meaningfully in clinical practice. The landscape of gynecologic oncology is evolving rapidly, and it is our shared responsibility to stay ahead not only by understanding the latest evidence, but also by exploring how it can be integrated into real-world care.
As we gather here today, I wish to reiterate a personal principle that continues to guide my work:
“We may not always be able to provide the best and latest therapy for our patients but we must always know what the best and latest therapy is.”
Because in a developing country like ours, awareness, knowledge, and judgment are essential tools in navigating the limitations we sometimes face.
INASMEET has proven to be a strong platform for connecting professionals across regions and generations. With this meeting, we aim to strengthen our collective knowledge, enhance collaboration, and inspire innovative solutions tailored to our context. From keynote lectures and workshops to case-based discussions, this forum will be rich with opportunities for growth.
We are proud to host this meeting in Bandung, the vibrant City of Creativity and Culture. May this event not only enrich our scientific understanding but also strengthen the unity and determination of our professional community.
On behalf of HOGI, thank you for your commitment and enthusiasm. Let us continue to move forward together empowered, enlightened, and united in our purpose.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
